I'm so happy that I can host TANGONAUTICA on New Year's Eve this year, continuing a tradition that started four years ago.

 

If you're looking for an event with a relaxed atmosphere, professional DJs who play traditional tango music and an organization with care and knowledge about the needs and wishes of the dancers , TANGONAUTICA is the place for you.

The venue already proved that it is perfectly suited to our needs. It has a nice wooden floor, excellent acoustics, and a comfortable layout where you can sit and move around the dance floor.

A "cantina" will be set up on the ground floor, where dinner will be served every day.

How to get there

Tram No 3, stop Waldenburgerstrasse, right in front (it's a former church, easy to find).

From Basel Euroairport, it's rather convenient to use Uber (price depends on time).

For parking in blue zone in the area, you need to get a ticket in the app at the price of CHF 6 for half a day.​

Program

The focus is on dancing, but the social aspect is just as important. Therefore, dinner will be served on-site every evening, where you can connect with friends and meet new people. To avoid food waste, you must have registered and pay for the meals in advance (registration is closed).
